Back when I first started my blog I wrote about my favorite things to buy at the Dollar Tree for my son. Well lately over on my Instagram, I’ve been sharing a lot of the Dollar Tree finds that I’ve found for myself. So I decided to put together a handy shopping list for you guys the next time you’re there!
Tip: Every Dollar Tree has different inventory based on your area and season, so if your local store doesn’t have something on this list check back at a later date or head to one in another area!

Coconut oil and hair masks

I do a hair mask once a month. It really helps my curls hold definition and restores moisture. Grabbing a hair mask for a buck is a win in my book!
Face masks

They have great natural brands too like the one I grabbed above!
Bobby pins

I’ve never seen blonde bobby pins (sorry!) But they always have black and brown. At the rate I lose them, it’s nice to grab a pack for $1.
Plastic hair ties
Great for thinner hair. I use them to tie off braids or create cute bun looks.
Spray bottles

I use mine to refresh my curls! But they are great for dampening clothes before ironing. I even used mine to reverse tie-dye a shirt!
Razors
You can get a pack of 3 4-blade razors for $1! I always grab a couple packs when I’m there. (I’ll occasionally buy shaving lotion from there too but I started getting it delivered through Amazon and it’s been fantastic!
Reusable facial pads

Love mine! They are made with microfiber and very sturdy. I hand wish them or toss them in with my towels.
Batteries
We go through a ton of batteries in my house so I’m always buying more. Since they are so inexpensive at the Dollar Tree I never buy anywhere else!
Some medicines
Around the time that the doomsday preppers got stocked up for the “stay-at-home orders” I ran out of pain meds and my normal stores were out. Well, I found plenty at my local Dollar Tree. Even grabbed some brand name vitamin C!
Safety pins

Life savers for sure! I use mine to hold clothing in place (like deep necklines) and to secure certain decor (banners to table cloths, strings of balloons to anchors, ect). Mine even came in a handy travel case.
Cute notebooks
Who doesn’t like a cute notebook?? They have several to choose from as well.
Envelopes, markers, pens, all the stationary stuff
I love grabbing stationary supplies even if I don’t need them.
Greeting Cards
Some of the greeting cards (super cute ones btw) are 2 for $1!
Christmas Decoration…well any holiday really
I even used some of the spring decorations in our wedding!
Acrylic makeup organizers

They’re small and don’t have draws, but the one I got was the perfect “add on” to my larger one that has draws! I’m getting another one in a different style for my jewelry soon.
Candles
They have some pretty cute ones. I even added a few to my sister’s engagement basket last year!
Plastic bins and baskets
I use them to organize products under my sink, as well as toys and art supplies in Jackson’s room.
What do you always buy when you’re at a Dollar Tree?? Let’s keep the list going in the comments!
