Do you have a little one itching to get their hands covered in glitter, glue, and marker ink this Valentine’s Day? Mine is the same way! Unfortunately, he isn’t quite big enough to handle the more complicated projects I saw on Pinterest. So I found some simple craft options fit for my toddler to share with you fellow toddler parents.

Jackson is only 3 so he is still pretty limited on what he can do by himself. Sure, I could help him make a cute heart wreath out of construction paper or a pipe cleaner pom pom animal, but he would feel robbed of his “independence”. Below are a few crafts he loved! The best part is he could do all of them on his own (with a little help from me to set up supplies and such).

For the craft paper we used Aldi’s grocery bags! Worked great. The paint we used was Crayola and most of the other supplies were bought at the Dollar Tree, including the palettes.
