Those days (or weeks) when you don’t make a single sale can be frustrating. You share your closet and send offers to “likers” but you don’t get any bites. It’s annoying enough to make you throw your hands in the air in defeat and donate everything. Don’t do that! Here are a few productive things to do during this time.

Share another Posher’s items to parties
I don’t have makeup available in my closet, but I’ll go to the makeup market and share several listings to any makeup parties! It helps you come in contact with Poshers you don’t already follow and gets eyes on your closet! (And hopefully a few shares in return.)
Delete, Rephotograph, and Repost
When sales won’t pick up don’t donate your old items. Give them a face lift with new photographs and a new listing! I copy and paste my description and save it as a note on my phone so I don’t have to retype everything when I relist!
Update your inventory
Chances are, if you are serious about selling you keep track of your sells on a separate program other than Poshmark. Use this down time to update your list.
Make sure you have enough shipping supplies

Check on your ‘thank you” cards, ribbons, stickers, tape, tissue paper, all the bells and whistles. When the sales start rolling in again you don’t want to be without your little extras!
Organize your storage area
Life happens, and as much as we try to keep our physical inventory in order, it can get messy! Reorganize your items and make sure nothing has been damaged.
Share/follow new closets
Help them build their following and get eyes on your closet at the same time!
Start chipping away at your death pile
All those pretty little things you have in a pile, that aren’t listed on your closet, are just taking up space and can’t make you money! Get those photos taken, descriptions written, and listings made so you can post them. Listing regularly, in my opinion, helps kick start sales. Maybe it makes the algorithm happy; or maybe having more items to reach more people is what helps. Either way, it’s good to regularly add to your available items.
Work on your Posh Ambassador criteria

Being a Posh Ambassador doesn’t mean your sales will immediately increase, but it’s a fun milestone to reach. Use you slow sales period to share other listings, new Poshers, and add more listings!
Share you closet
You’re probably already doing this, but don’t stop! Share, share, share.
Live your life and don’t stress it
Don’t obsess when you aren’t making sells. Your life exists outside of your job and Poshmark is no different. Do what you can, stay positive, and the sales will start rolling in soon enough.
HAPPY POSHING!
